Job Description
Position Overview The rolloff truck driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of rolloff containers to and from customer sites, landfills, quarries and transfer stations. This role requires strong driving skills, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally. Key Responsibilities Operate rolloff trucks to deliver, swap, and pick up containers from commercial, industrial, and residential locations. Safely transport loads to designated disposal facilities, following all local, state, and federal regulations. Inspect vehicles daily for safety and maintenance issues; report defects promptly. Secure loads properly to ensure safe transport and compliance with DOT requirements. Communicate with dispatch regarding job assignments, delays, or issues in the field. Maintain accurate driver logs, trip sheets, and disposal tickets. Interact professionally with customers and site personnel to ensure smooth service. Follow company safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures. Assist with container staging and yard duties when required. Qualifications Valid Class B or Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement. Preferred of 1-2 years of CDL driving experience; rolloff truck experience preferred. Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening. Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and load securement. Ability to operate truck hydraulics, tarp systems, and related equipment. Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently. Physical ability to climb in and out of trucks, secure tarps, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Schedule & Work Environment Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Early morning start times; shifts may vary based on workload. Pay $57,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
