Job Description
Job Overview Mid-Atlantic Sewer (MAS) is looking for a motivated, dependable Field Laborer / CDL Driver to join our growing team. We repair and rehabilitate underground infrastructure including storm drains, sanitary sewer systems, manholes, and large underground pipes. Most of our work is performed without digging up roads, making it a unique and specialized part of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, supporting various field operations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout all tasks. What You'll be doing: Operate CDL vehicles to transport equipment, materials, etc... Assisting crews with underground pipe and manhole repairs Operating hand tools and construction equipment Mixing construction materials Setting up and maintaining job sites Cleaning and preparing pipes and structures for repair Working around trucks, pumps, generators, and specialized equipment Loading and unloading materials and equipment Following safety procedures and company policies Working outdoors in various weather conditions Qualifications Valid CDL License with a clean driving record (A MUST) Prior experience operating commercial vehicles preferred. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to pass a background check Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly Must be comfortable working outdoors and around construction equipment Must be dependable and reliable Construction experience is helpful but not required Job description: No previous sewer experience is required. We are willing to train the right person.
