Job Overview Mika Express LLC is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team. This role offers .61 per mile, paid holidays and vacation. Opportunity to operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, tankers, and refrigerated trailers, across diverse routes. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight efficiently and safely while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and vehicle operation will ensure timely deliveries and exceptional service for our clients. Dedicated local runs are home every night and weekends and ability to run long haul. Occasional bach haul opportunities. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules Transport various types of freight including refrigerated goods, hazardous materials, flatbed loads, or tanker cargo depending on assignment Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle maintenance records Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Experience operating manual transmission trucks and automatic, familiarity with truck loading/unloading procedures Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA standards, and hazardous materials regulations Excellent navigation skills with proficiency in GPS systems for route planning Ability to work independently on long-distance OTR routes or local deliveries as assigned We value safety, professionalism, and dedication—qualities that help us deliver excellence every mile.
