Independent Contractor (1099) Position Overview We are seeking a reliable Independent Contractor / Owner-Operator with their own 12-16 foot box truck to deliver tires to automotive dealerships, tire shops, and other customers throughout Virginia. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for consistent route work and daily pay. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver tires to dealerships, shops, and other designated locations throughout Virginia. Safely load, transport, and unload tire shipments. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules. Provide professional and courteous customer service at each stop. Maintain accurate delivery documentation. Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition. Requirements Own and operate a 12-16 foot box truck. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Proper commercial auto insurance and required documentation. Reliable and dependable. Ability to safely handle and move tires and other freight. Ability to navigate throughout Virginia and meet scheduled delivery times. Professional appearance and customer-service skills. Must be able to work independently. Route Schedule Routes are available with 6:00 AM and 11:00 AM start times , depending on the assigned route. Compensation $300 per day as an independent contractor.
