Job Description

E.W. Wylie is seeking a Regional CDL A Truck Driver to haul flatbed freight across assigned routes. In this role, you'll safely operate late-model tractors, secure and tarp loads, and manage timely pickups and deliveries while following all DOT and company safety regulations. You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate electronic logs, and communicate professionally with dispatch and customers. E.W. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A tractor hauling flatbed freight on regional routes Secure, tarp, and inspect loads according to company and DOT standards Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate electronic logs and required DOT documentation Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members Manage on-time pickups and deliveries while optimizing routes Report maintenance issues and coordinate necessary repairs Required Skills CDL A driving Flatbed load securement Trip planning Electronic log (ELD) use Defensive driving Basic vehicle inspections Time management Route navigation/GPSSafety compliance (DOT/FMCSA) Customer service
