Job Description

Our Company Rocktown Transport is a family-owned contract carrier based in the Shenandoah Valley, specializing in the transportation of agricultural commodities including live birds, bulk feed, and related ingredients. We proudly partner with customers ranging from individual family farms to large corporate poultry companies and cooperatives. Rocktown Transport offers the best of both worlds—small enough to value and care for our employees, yet large enough to deliver reliable, high-quality service to our customers. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL A Feed Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team in Mt. Jackson. This role delivers 4-5 loads of feed to local poultry farms, working out of the Mt. Jackson feed mill.
Job Details:
Pay:
$1,575 - $2,100 average weekly gross with the opportunity to earn more as pay is activity based $1,500 sign on bonus after 45 days! 4pm-4am
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer hauling a frame trailer of bulk feed Accurately weigh and load feed into trailers Follow all DOT and company safety policies Complete required paperwork accurately Communicate with dispatch as needed throughout the day Maintain excellent attendance
Requirements:
Valid class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a minimum of 2 years proven experience in truck driving and route delivery. Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently. Clean driving record Dependable and safety-focused work ethic This is a steady local position for drivers looking for consistent work and daily home time.
