In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport and deliver construction materials, debris, and other freight efficiently across various routes. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to handle diverse cargo will ensure smooth operations on every job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining a focus on safety, precision, and timely deliveries. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently across over-the-road (OTR) routes, construction sites, and designated delivery locations Load and unload materials using manual handling techniques or truck-mounted equipment, ensuring proper cargo securing in compliance with safety standards Follow GPS navigation and route planning to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times Adhere strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other relevant safety protocols Transport specialized freight such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or tractor-trailers as required for specific deliveries Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on load & unload operations and route driving Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and safe handling of dangerous goods when applicable Skilled in using GPS navigation systems for precise route management and delivery planning Familiarity with various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers Ability to perform manual handling tasks related to truck loading/unloading while maintaining safety standards Strong understanding of
FMCSA, DOT
regulations, and hazardous materials regulations governing commercial trucking operations Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission trucks is preferred Capable of managing logistics cargo handling efficiently under tight schedules while ensuring compliance with safety protocols Join our team as a Dump Truck Driver where your expertise drives our success!
