Job Description

Regional CDL-A Driver - Dry Bulk Southern Tank Transport is hiring safe, professional CDL-A drivers for our Ripplemead, Virginia terminal. We are an established dry bulk carrier primarily transporting materials in pneumatic bulk tank trailers. We are currently looking for dependable regional drivers who are comfortable being out 3-5 nights per week . What We Offer Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company 401(k) program Safety incentive program Well-maintained equipment Stable regional freight Training provided for qualified drivers without dry bulk experience Driver Requirements Valid Class A CDL Ability to travel and remain out 3-5 nights per week Safe and professional driving record Ability to pass all DOT and company hiring requirements Comfortable using electronic logs, GPS, and onboard communication systems Dependable, safety-focused, and able to handle changing road, traffic, and weather conditions Hazmat and tanker endorsements are not required. Previous dry bulk or pneumatic tanker experience is not required. We will train qualified drivers. Responsibilities Safely transport dry bulk products to customer and manufacturing locations Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine equipment inspections Follow assigned routes and meet delivery schedules Maintain accurate electronic logs and trip documentation Communicate loading, transit, delivery, and unloading status through the onboard system Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Properly position equipment for loading and unloading Verify delivery instructions and customer information Promptly report equipment defects, accidents, delays, or safety concerns Apply Today Apply online at: www.sotank.com For more information, call: 540-626-5200
