Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced part-time Class B Distribution Driver to deliver dairy products across Virginia for our herd share members. We're creating an intentional work culture based on teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, positivity, and promoting the team and our herd share members before oneself. As we like to say, there is no "I" in "team," and we all must cooperate, communicate, and give our best to make everything run smoothly and cohesively. You would be an integral part of our team to ensure our products are safely and efficiently delivered and manually unloaded to drops across Virginia on assigned routes. You would have the opportunity to build relationships with our hosts and herd share members using a positive, friendly approach and become familiar with their operations to meet expectations. Responsibilities Promote Creambrook Farm's brand and business integrity. Load, deliver, and unload the accurate number of milk shares / add-on products to designated drop-offs within the expected timeframe. Commitment to product quality, and contribute to best management practices in maintaining or reaching goals. Clean / maintain fridges at drop-off sites. Keep delivery trucks clean inside and out, and complete light maintenance on a routine basis. Complete a preliminary check of the delivery truck before beginning every route. Maintain a valid driver's license in good standing. Obtain / maintain DOT credentials in good standing. (This can be acquired after hire.) Obtain / maintain CDL credentials in good standing, if required. Requirements Obtain and maintain a Class B driver's license. Able to frequently lift up to 60 pounds and push up to 250 lbs of dairy products using a push dolly. Ability to work weekdays, 20-30 hours per week, including regularly-scheduled overnight stays at company-paid hotels (up to one night per week). Strong attention to detail. Manage accurate inventory counts of products with the ability to use basic mathematical skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective and timely communicator. Willingness to be flexible and adaptable when last-minute changes arise. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solver. Ability to follow navigational directions. Ability to build and maintain positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with coworkers, herd share members, hosts, and the public. Demonstrate high personal energy levels (commitment, initiative, persistence). Demonstrate good attendance. Ability to follow all sanitation and quality policies and procedures, and report any deficiencies to supervisor.
