The primary responsibility of this role is to operate dump trucks to transport materials from quarries to construction sites. The ideal candidate will be committed to safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery, ensuring smooth operations on every job site. Duties Operate dump trucks with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to transport materials from quarry locations to various construction sites. Safely load and unload materials, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Ensure the truck is kept clean and well-maintained for optimal performance. Skills Valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks. Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks, preferably in construction or quarry environments. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and traffic laws related to commercial vehicle operation. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel.
