Job Description

STG Logistics, a leading national provider of containerized logistics, is seeking a Local CDL-A Truck Driver. In this role, you'll haul containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers, supporting CFS, drayage, and intermodal operations. You'll run primarily local routes, be home daily, and work within a safety-first, performance-driven culture. Responsibilities include safe tractor-trailer operation, accurate documentation, pre- and post-trip inspections, and strict DOT and company compliance. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailers on local routes Transport containerized freight between ports, rail ramps, and distribution centers Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs Comply with DOT, company, and safety regulations at all times Coordinate with dispatch and terminal staff for efficient scheduling Secure loads and verify freight documentation and accuracy Provide professional, customer-focused service at all delivery locations Report equipment issues and incidents promptly Follow company policies supporting a safety-first culture Support continuous improvement in on-time performance and efficiency Required Skills CDL-A tractor-trailer operation Local and regional route driving
