Montpelier, Vermont has (1) current openings for a Mechanic Truck Driver in the Water-Sewer Division of Public Works. The person filling this position will work with a water and sewer crew performing skilled work in the construction, maintenance and repair of water distribution, raw water distribution, wastewater collection and wastewater transmission systems. The successful candidate will, at a minimum, have the following qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or vocational school; a valid Vermont class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement preferred; and be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug testing. The City of Montpelier offers a comprehensive benefit package. The range of compensation for the position is $26.08 to $28.76 per hour dependent on experience, qualifications, and an interview inclusive of meeting the requirements of a proficiency matrix.
