In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty CMVs, operate equipment, help the crew with the task at hand, and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers and other heavy-duty trucks, following all federal and state transportation regulations. Specific Responsibilities and Duties Learn how to properly operate the company's commercial motor vehicles (CMV) Safely, effectively, and efficiently operate the company's trucks and equipment Responsible for machine and truck operations and basic equipment maintenance Responsible for keeping truck cabs neat, clean & organized Responsible for keeping the proper tools, fittings, clamps and supplies on the trucks Responsible for completing and submitting the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) when operating any CMV Perform strenuous labor such as shoveling, industrial vacuuming, tank cleaning, lifting heavy loads and climbing ladders, as needed Wear a respirator (half-face and full-face) while performing strenuous tasks Complete safety training as required Perform jobsite housekeeping Housekeeping and safety audits, first aid kit inspections and/or emergency equipment inspections (fire extinguishers, hoses, spill kits, safety signs/stickers) Follow up on safety and housekeeping inspection items Perform Pump Watch, Bottle Watch, and Safety Attendant duties Develop and review job and safety procedures as needed Lead/supervise crews when asked Contribute to workplace harmony Compensation This is an hourly position with a range of $45-57/hour depending on experience and jobs performed. Compensation will be adjusted to be consistent with the seventy-fifth percentile for the occupation while performing duties non-exempted from current regulations.

$45.00 - $57.00 per hour
