• apprenticeship groundsman / climber (Tree Service) J&J Tree Service is looking to add a reliable, hard-working Ground Crew Member to our team!

Position Details:

We're seeking someone with experience in tree work (preferred, but not required) who is ready to show up on time, work hard, and be part of a solid crew. This is a physically demanding job, so a strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must. Ideally we are looking for someone who is going to be able to tackle groundsman responsibilities, understand rope work / technical rigging, and ground management with opportunity to advance to climbing / operation

Responsibilities:

• Assisting climbers / operators and crew on job sites
• Operating chainsaws and other equipment safely
• Tying and using basic knots (training available if needed)
• Managing brush, rigging, and clean-up
• Following safety procedures at all times

• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
• Team player with a good attitude
• Experience in tree work is a plus

Pay:

Starting at $20/hour $25/hour with CDL (preferred but not required) Bonus Skills

• CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Previous tree service or landscaping experience
