  • Thursday (occasional weekends as needed) Position Summary We are currently seeking a full-time Septic Truck Driver to join Basin Disposal.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record. This position is responsible for safely operating a vacuum/septic truck to pump, transport, and dispose of waste, as well as service portable restrooms across various job sites. The Septic Truck Driver plays a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to company safety and sanitation standards. DSD Capital LLC, operating as Blue Room, is a locally owned and established portable toilet rental and septic service company based in Pasco, Washington. We proudly serve the greater Columbia Basin region including the Tri-Cities, Burbank, Benton City, Prosser, Connell, and Franklin County areas providing dependable, high-quality service for residential, agricultural, construction, and special event customers. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a septic or vacuum truck to pump, transport, and dispose of septic and waste materials. Service and maintain portable toilet units, ensuring they remain clean, sanitary, and fully stocked. Load, unload, and set up portable restroom units at customer sites as required. Complete daily route logs, delivery tickets, and service records accurately. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Adhere to all DOT, company, and environmental regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional appearance and positive attitude. Work collaboratively with dispatch and operations to ensure route efficiency and timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and work areas.

Regular travel between job sites throughout assigned service areas. Exposure to waste materials, insects, animals, and outdoor hazards. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing in/out of vehicles. Noise levels may range from moderate to loud.

Clean driving record for the past five years. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 90 lbs occasionally using proper lifting techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent attendance, reliability, and customer service skills.
