Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL B Driver with experience in manual transmission trucks to join our team. Your expertise in manual transmission driving, combined with a strong understanding of safety protocols and traffic laws, will ensure smooth route execution while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL B manual transmission trucks, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) and state transportation regulations Ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while complying with traffic laws and safety protocols Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, route completion times, and any incidents or hazards encountered during work shifts Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickups and addressing any questions or concerns Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks is essential Effectively utilize GBS and navigation tools to ensure timely routes Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting and vehicle inspections Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong understanding of load & unload procedures Excellent defensive driving skills with a focus on safety and hazard awareness Prior experience working with heavy equipment like front-end loaders is a plus Good customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and excellent service.
