Key Responsibilities Lead and participate in daily sewer and lining operations, including jobsite preparation, pipe-lining installation, curing, sewer rehabilitation, and excavation activities. Provide daily direction to sewer and lining crew members and help coordinate workflow in the field. Assign tasks, establish priorities, and monitor job progress to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Train and mentor technicians on lining procedures, trenchless technology, equipment operation, and safe work practices. Inspect jobsites and verify conditions before lining or rehabilitation work begins. Operate and oversee the safe use of lining, trenchless, excavation, and related equipment. Troubleshoot jobsite conditions and make sound field decisions when unexpected issues arise. Conduct jobsite safety checks and reinforce proper PPE, confined-space, excavation, and trench safety requirements. Identify and report equipment problems, jobsite hazards, or other concerns requiring management attention. Coordinate with the Sewer & Lining Manager regarding schedules, crew assignments, materials, and job progress. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional worksite. Communicate effectively with crew members, management, and other departments to keep projects moving efficiently. What We're Looking For An experienced sewer and lining professional who understands the complete lining process and can confidently perform the work in the field. A hands-on leader who is willing to work alongside the crew while providing direction and accountability. Strong knowledge of sewer rehabilitation, trenchless methods, lining equipment, tools, and procedures. Ability to evaluate jobsite conditions, identify problems, and make practical decisions in the field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. A safety-focused individual who understands the hazards associated with excavation, confined spaces, and sewer rehabilitation work. Clear communication skills and the ability to train and develop less-experienced technicians. Dependable, organized, and able to keep a crew focused and productive. Requirements Previous pipe-lining/sewer-lining experience is required. Previous experience with trenchless sewer rehabilitation methods. Prior experience leading or directing field crews strongly preferred. Experience with excavation, sewer, plumbing, and related equipment. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and required pre-employment screenings. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in trenches and confined spaces. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs. Excavation equipment, lining, confined-space, and Competent Person certifications are preferred; candidates must be willing and able to maintain required certifications for the position.
