Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Safely operate a tanker truck to transport and deliver materials to customer and company locations. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe and reliable operation. Load, unload, and handle materials in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel. Promote a strong safety culture by following all company policies, environmental standards, and transportation regulations. What Are We Looking For Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate Tanker and Doubles Endorsements and a strong commitment to safe driving practices. Demonstrated ability to operate tanker equipment safely and efficiently in a variety of conditions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete inspections, documentation, and regulatory requirements accurately. Effective communication and customer service skills with a professional and team-oriented approach. Dependable, safety-focused individual who can adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and operational needs. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
