Tidewater Environmental Services Number of openings: Operations - General (US) THE JOB Tidewater Environmental Services, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Operator to join our team in Vancouver, WA! In this role, you'll support the Pacific Northwest's industrial and marine communities by safely transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials to customer locations. Responsibilities include loading, unloading, and operating a variety of specialized equipment, including tractor-trailer combinations, roll-off trucks (straight truck and trailer), street sweepers, and wet/dry vacuum trucks (tankers and guzzlers).

This position will:

Maintain a teamwork mentality and work effectively with others. Maintain clear and professional communication with employees and customers via cell phone and face-to-face interactions. Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times. Safely load and unload equipment, materials, and vacuum hoses. Ensure the successful, safe, and timely transportation and delivery of products. Operate commercial vehicles and specialized equipment in compliance with all applicable safety regulations and company procedures. Follow safe work practices, maintain regular attendance, and participate in on-call assignments as required.

Hiring Wages:

$31.18 or $34.93/ hour (dependent on experience and qualifications) Up to an additional $3.25/ hour based on endorsements and on-the-job experience Wage increase after 1040 hours worked if hired on at the entry level wage rate. Overtime is paid for all weekend work and any work beyond eight hours per day or 40 hours per week Full-family medical/dental/vision coverage with low premiums Paid vacation and sick leave Nine holidays Company 401(k), eligible for 2% company match, fully vested in match after one (1) year of employment Union Pension

THE CATCH A

valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements. Obtain and maintain a valid TWIC Card in accordance with Department of Homeland Security and TSA guidelines within 15 days of hire date. All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment physical, DOT drug screen, criminal background check, driving record check, and driving test.

We operate seven days a week, 24 hours per day, to serve our customers.
