Full Job Description Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lumber Yard CDL Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting lumber and building materials from our yard to job sites and customer locations. This position requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the transportation of heavy materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver lumber and building materials to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring all loads are secure and comply with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience driving in a lumber yard or construction environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
