Job Overview Looking for a full-time Class A CDL Driver to drive a double flatbed for local deliveries of packaging materials in Wenatchee, Yakima, Chelan, Brewster and Manson area. M-F, usually 7 AM to 4 or 5 PM. Driver will have to throw straps, and can assist in loading if experienced with a forklift. HAZMAT a plus, but will hire without one; there will be an increase in pay if candidate obtains a HAZMAT endorsement and the fingerprinting/background check will be reimbursed. This is a permanent, year-round position with excellent health benefits, and 401K with a very generous profit sharing plan. Duties Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailer flatbed doubles and straight flatbeds. Throw straps to secure loads. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Manage loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary (not required, but desired) Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsement for doubles. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and delivery protocols. Ability to operate forklifts safely as needed during loading/unloading processes (not required, but desired) Attention to detail with excellent time management skills. Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean driving record.
