Yard Operations

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operations to join our team. In this role, you will assist with receiving, organizing, and preparing lumber and building materials for our customers. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and unload lumber and building materials deliveries Organize and maintain inventory in the yard and warehouse Load and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other yard equipment safely Assist customers with product selection, provide guidance, and answer questions Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols Support team members with daily yard operations as needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or construction-related environment is a plus Ability to lift heavy materials safely (up to 50 lbs+) Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Basic math and organizational skills Forklift certification a plus, but not required (training provided) Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills
