Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Truck Driver and take the wheel of a versatile fleet! In this role, you'll be responsible for safely operating trucks while transporting building materials, lumber, and specialty products to various job sites. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, efficient load & unload operations, and adherence to all safety standards. This position combines skilled driving with hands-on customer service, teamwork, and a commitment to safety. As a Class A Driver you will play a vital role in keeping construction projects, customers, and contractors moving forward with timely delivery of proper materials. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles Deliver lumber, building materials, and related products to residential and commercial job sites Load, secure, and unload materials using straps, tarps, forklifts, and other equipment as needed Conduct vehicle saftey inspections before and after each trip Verify delivery paperwork, invoices, and customer orders for accuracy Maintain a clean and organized truck and work environment Assist in the lumber yard when not completing deliveries, including loading materials and supporting warehouse operations Build positive relationships with customers through dependable, professional service Follow all company safety policies and procedures For years Dealers Northland Supply has been a family owned and oriented business. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record Strong knowledge and understanding of building materials Ability to operate flatbed and boom trucks safely Forklift certified or willingness to earn Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to lift, carry, and move building materials regularly Dependable. self-motivated, and team-orientated Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, and securing loads This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hard work, values safety, and enjoys being part of a family owned and operated business.
