Primary Objectives of Position:
Deliver merchandise to customers in a manner that is timely and most efficient for the company Help achieve the cooperative's mission and goals Perform outstanding customer service Responsibilities of the
Position:
Promptly delivery and pick up of merchandise Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues (thorough pre/post trips) and perform preventative maintenance Complete and turn in all driver paperwork (i.e. manifests, shipping papers, HOS logs, etc.) Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Loading and unloading of merchandise Report defects, accidents or violations to manager
Qualifications:
Maintain Class A CDL license Must provide a medical certificate Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and be subject to random testing Must have clean driving record Team Player - working well with others Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 70 pounds, have full use of arms, legs and good finger dexterity. Must be able to climb stairs, reach above and at shoulder level, and work on or with moving machinery, in outside temperatures.
