Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver and take charge of transfering garbage with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual/automatic transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Manage route driving responsibilities with precision, ensuring on-time deliveries while optimizing routes for efficiency Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in compliance with federal and state regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered on the road Assist in securing loads on specialized trucks to prevent shifting during transit Experience Proven experience operating commercial trucks with a valid CDL Class A license Demonstrated ability to drive manual transmission trucks confidently and safely Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving preferred Familiarity with operating flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo securement techniques This role is perfect for motivated drivers eager to advance their careers in commercial trucking.
