In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient transport of materials, maintain yard organization, and contribute to the smooth flow of daily activities. Your expertise in operating commercial vehicles and yard equipment will be essential to our success. Responsibilities Operate Class A vehicles to transport materials to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Load and unload trucks, utilizing forklifts and other equipment to handle building materials efficiently. Maintain yard inventory by organizing and moving materials, ensuring accurate stock levels and easy accessibility. Support daily shipping and receiving operations, verifying orders and coordinating with team members to ensure accuracy. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues promptly to ensure operational readiness. Qualifications Required Skills Valid CDL Class A license. Proficiency in operating large commercial vehicles, with a strong understanding of safety protocols. Ability to perform physical tasks in an outdoor setting, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials. Preferred Skills Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, or building materials environment. Certification and experience operating forklifts and other yard equipment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage inventory effectively.
