Temporary Bulk Truck Driver - Sept 15 - Oct 15 Are you ready to play a vital role in Wisconsin's harvest season? Wysocki Family Farms is seeking reliable Seasonal Harvest Drivers to join our team and help move freshly harvested potatoes from fields to storage. This is more than just a driving job—you'll be a key part of a fast-paced, safety-driven harvest operation with a team that values hard work, communication, and commitment.
Schedule:
Monday-Sunday, extended hours and variable shifts based on weather and harvest demands Safety Orientation is required and scheduled on/around mid-August. Attendance is required for Safety Orientation. We are also seeking drivers with semi-truck driving experience (no CDL required, but always a plus)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate bulk trucks to safely transport harvested potatoes between fields and storage locations Maneuver trucks into position for loading/unloading using mirrors and guidance from spotters Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (tires, fluids, safety checks) Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and Wysocki Family Farm guidelines Enter/exit truck cabs multiple times per shift for tarp securement, breaks, inspections, etc. Assist with unloading or general harvest support tasks as needed Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues promptly Navigate uneven terrain, varying light, and field conditions outdoors in all weather
Minimum Qualifications Active Driver's License :
Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Schedule Flexibility :
Ability to work flexible hours based on changing weather conditions.
Driving Test :
Must pass the required driving test.
Basic Skills :
Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow instructions/directions.
Color Distinction :
Ability to distinguish colors in directions and field team markers/flags.
Mobility :
Ability to repeatedly enter/exit bulk trucks, and safely navigate field/storage/parking areas on foot.
Peripheral Awareness :
Ability to quickly move head/body to stay aware of surroundings and ensure safety.
Vision :
Adequate vision and depth perception in varying light conditions. Success in
