  • 5:00pm We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join a large potato farming operation in Plover, WI as Farm Tractor Operators.
This is a year-round position with opportunities to operate a variety of modern tractors and farm equipment throughout the different stages of the potato-growing and harvesting process. You'll have the opportunity to operate multiple types of tractors and farm equipment, giving you a chance to develop a wide range of equipment-operating skills. Many of the newer tractors are equipped with air conditioning and radios, making long days in the field more comfortable.
Tractor Driver Responsibilities:
  • Operate a variety of tractors and agricultural equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting, and other seasonal farm operations
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting
  • Identify basic mechanical issues and communicate larger problems to the appropriate team member
  • Help keep equipment, work areas, and farm grounds clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
  • Maintain a dependable attendance record, particularly during busy planting and harvest seasons Requirements for
Tractor Driver:
  • No prior experience required
  • we will train!
  • Dependable and willing to work
  • Comfortable working longer hours when needed during busy seasons
  • Mechanically inclined with an interest in understanding how equipment works
  • Ability to recognize basic equipment problems and perform simple troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to safety and detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
