Approximately 90% driving / 10% warehouse Job Overview We are seeking a reliable CDL Class B Driver to deliver plumbing, HVAC, and waterworks materials using a curtain-side truck and Ford F‑250 , both equipped with automatic transmissions. Products delivered include pipe, valves, fittings, water heaters, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC equipment. Most routes are local, with deliveries generally within a 100-mile radius of the branch. This role combines delivery responsibilities with warehouse support, including shipping, receiving, loading trucks, and assisting with inventory and material handling activities. Successful candidates who demonstrate strong attendance and performance may have the opportunity to convert to a permanent position. Must‑Haves Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) State-issued non-excepted interstate self-certification designation (proof required) Minimum 1 year of Class B driving experience CDL held for at least 1 year General computer skills Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable using delivery tracking devices Comfortable operating vehicles equipped with delivery-monitoring cameras Qualifications Commercial delivery driving experience preferred Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred Ability to accurately complete delivery documentation Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and customer-focused attitudeResponsibilities:
Driving & Deliveries Operate a curtain-side truck and Ford F‑250 safely and efficiently Deliver plumbing, HVAC, and waterworks products to customer locations Validate routes and delivery destinations Ensure loads are properly secured and within legal weight limits Obtain customer signatures and delivery confirmations Collect payments when required Customer Service Provide professional customer service during deliveries Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Process customer returns and verify returned materials Warehouse Operations Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials Load delivery vehicles Assist with shipping and receiving activities Support general warehouse organization and housekeeping Safety & Compliance Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Utilize delivery tracking technology and maintain accurate records Comply with DOT regulations and company policies Fuel vehicles as needed Report vehicle issues, accidents, violations, or defects immediately Physical Requirements Ability to assist with loading and unloading deliveries Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and material handling Ability to work both in warehouse and delivery environments Comfortable handling plumbing, HVAC, and waterworks materials We are looking for someone who: Has strong Class B driving experience Enjoys customer interaction Has solid computer skills and is comfortable with technology Works safely and independently Maintains excellent attendance and reliability Is interested in a long-term career opportunity About SGF Global Who We Are SGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
