PODS is hiring a CDL Driver to safely deliver, pick up, and relocate portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this local driving role, you'll operate CDL-class trucks, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure containers are properly loaded, secured, and positioned. You'll interact directly with customers, problem-solve on-site access and placement challenges, and uphold our high safety and service standards. Responsibilities Operate CDL-class trucks to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete logs Safely load, secure, and position containers using company procedures Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations and policies Provide courteous, professional service during all customer interactions Assess sites for access, clearance, and safe container placement Communicate route, delay, and safety issues to dispatch/management Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned vehicle Accurately complete delivery, pickup, and service documentation Support teammates and contribute to a safety-focused, customer-first culture Required Skills CDL-A or CDL-B driving Local delivery driving Vehicle inspection Defensive driving
