The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing vehicles, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to handle various towing equipment safely and efficiently. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to transport vehicles safely. Perform automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during roadside assistance calls. Manage conflicts professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction even in challenging situations. Conduct routine maintenance checks on tow trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Utilize manual transmission skills when operating various types of vehicles. Assist with minor automotive repairs when necessary, leveraging mechanic experience to ensure safe transportation of vehicles. Maintain accurate records of services provided and vehicle conditions. Requirements Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred. Experience driving both Rollbacks, Pickup and Trailers, and Wreckers Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair are essential. Proficiency in operating tow trucks and forklifts safely. Excellent conflict management skills to handle customer inquiries and concerns effectively. Ability to perform automotive diagnostics and understand vehicle mechanics. Previous experience in driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles, is a plus. Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the road. Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive experience for clients in distressing situations.
