Overview Join our dynamic team as a Class A Truck Driver specializing in flatbed regional and over-the-road (OTR) routes! This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate modern tractor-trailers across diverse routes, delivering freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. You'll be the backbone of our logistics operation, ensuring timely deliveries, proper cargo handling, and excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers with flatbed configurations on regional and OTR routes, including specialized loads such as overweight, overwidth, and overheight. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to follow designated routes, optimize delivery schedules, and meet deadlines. Transport specialized cargo via flatbed or other trailer types, ensuring secure transportation according to safety standards. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and safety protocols at all times. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before hitting the road. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations, managing route driving responsibilities while providing excellent customer service. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including flatbed, rgn, or refrigerated trailer operations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for regional and OTR driving routes. Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures, cargo handling, and securing loads on flatbeds or other trailers. Ability to manually handle freight safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials handling (Hazmat), dangerous goods transportation, and DOT compliance standards. Experience with manual transmission trucks preferred; strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance are essential. Excellent communication skills for coordinating deliveries and interacting professionally with customers and team members. Must be at-least 21 years old Must be willing to be gone a few nights per week Must know how to drive manual transmission. 13 and 18 speed Must have previous flatbed experienc, or willing and able to learn Neevel Transport LLC is seeking an experienced and skilled Class A Truck driver to haul flatbed freight on regional and over the road routes.
