Job Description

Are you an experienced CDL Class A driver looking for a local driving position with consistent routes and the opportunity to be home regularly? We're looking for a dependable, safety-minded professional to join our delivery team and help keep products moving to grocery retailers and warehouses throughout Wisconsin. As a CDL Class A Delivery Driver, you'll play an essential role in providing excellent service to our customers. You'll be responsible for safely transporting and delivering products, maintaining accurate records, operating delivery equipment, and communicating closely with our Warehouse and Operations teams. If you take pride in safe driving, reliable service, and getting the job done right, we want you on our team! What You'll Do Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle throughout Wisconsin while making timely and professional deliveries. Navigate local routes efficiently and adjust to traffic, construction, customer needs, and route changes. Ensure trucks are properly loaded, with each customer's order separated and organized in the correct delivery sequence. Load and unload products safely and efficiently using manual and powered equipment. Deliver products to major and independent grocery retailers and warehouse customers. Assist with rush and time-sensitive orders when needed. Return pallets, boxes, trays, and other reusable materials with each delivery and ensure they are properly unloaded and returned. Verify customer orders and invoices for accuracy and make adjustments when necessary. Identify, document, and properly process damaged products, including disposal, sales, or returns. Record customer instructions and delivery information and communicate important details to Operations Management. Communicate promptly with Operations Management when running behind schedule, experiencing route issues, or dealing with a refused load. Keep Operations Management informed of customer concerns, complaints, potential service issues, and delivery challenges. Complete weekly reports and damage/credit summaries accurately and on time. Monitor delivery devices and maintain accurate delivery records. Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical or equipment concerns. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Perform general truck maintenance responsibilities, including ensuring the leasing company checks oil at each refueling. Keep the truck and cab clean, organized, and presentable every day. Follow all company safety policies and applicable DOT rules and regulations. What We're Looking For Valid CDL Class A license . A safe and responsible driving history. Commercial driving and delivery experience preferred. Strong knowledge of Wisconsin roads and the ability to navigate routes confidently. Excellent time-management and organizational skills. Ability to safely load, unload, and handle products throughout the workday. Comfortable operating manual and powered material-handling equipment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, professional, and able to work independently. Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented when schedules or customer needs change.
