The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for transporting raw materials, sheet metal, tooling, and finished fabricated parts safely between local production facilities and regional outside processing vendors. When not driving, this role integrates directly into warehouse, shipping, and production assistance operations. Operate a non-CDL flatbed truck or straight truck to transfer metal stampings, fabrications, and welded assemblies between localized plant facilities. Secure open flatbed loads using strapping, chaining, and tarping to ensure zero movement during transit. Actively assist the shipping/receiving department by operating forklifts, managing inventory sheets, and loading/unloading materials. Act as an expediter for raw goods, verifying part numbers and moving work-in-progress (WIP) batches to the production floors as needed.
Position Requirements Licensing:
Valid regular Driver's License with a clean driving record (No Commercial Driver's License / CDL-A required). Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day and regularly lift up to 40-50 lbs during loading/unloading sequences.
Experience:
Prior experience handling commercial box or flatbed trucks, or relevant background working inside a heavy manufacturing / industrial environment. Forklift certification is preferred.

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
