Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver I Care Medical Transportation Inc. is seeking dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused drivers to provide transportation services for members attending medical appointments and other healthcare-related destinations. Responsibilities Safely transport members to and from medical appointments. Assist passengers during pick-up and drop-off, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Operate wheelchair lifts and properly secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Provide courteous, respectful, and professional customer service. Maintain member confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company privacy standards. Follow company safety policies, vehicle inspection procedures, and transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding trip status and schedule changes. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, and drug screening. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. Experience transporting individuals with mobility challenges is preferred but not required. $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
