Blue & Gold Contracting LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to haul equipment, materials, and supplies from our Salem, West Virginia location to oil and gas construction jobsites throughout the area. We are looking for someone who can work independently, manage their daily hauling responsibilities without constant supervision, and safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment. Responsibilities Operate company trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment, materials, and supplies. Pick up and deliver equipment from our Salem location to jobsites as needed. Safely load and unload equipment and materials. Properly secure equipment and loads before transport. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Inspect trucks, trailers, straps, chains, binders, and other load-securement equipment. Plan and complete assigned deliveries efficiently. Communicate with the office, supervisors, and field crews regarding deliveries and equipment movements. Maintain accurate required paperwork and vehicle documentation. Keep company trucks and trailers clean and in good operating condition. Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation requirements. Assist with equipment and material handling at the shop or jobsite when necessary. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL required. Experience hauling construction equipment, machinery, or similar loads is strongly preferred. Must be comfortable loading, unloading, and securing equipment. Experience pulling equipment trailers is preferred. Ability to safely use chains, binders, straps, and other load-securement equipment. Must be dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong judgment and ability to manage changing delivery priorities throughout the workday. Ability to safely maneuver trucks and trailers at construction sites and other locations with limited access. Must be physically capable of performing the loading, securement, and unloading duties associated with the position. Must have an acceptable driving record. Must be available for overtime and varying schedules when required. Must be able to pass required pre-employment drug testing. What We Offer Full-time employment. Competitive pay based on experience.
