Woodford Oil Company, 3428 Turnpike Road, Summersville, WV 26651 is a well established leading distributor with a diverse array of products to meet the energy needs of our customers including Propane, Heating Oil and Refined Fuels. Woodford Oil Company proudly markets to customers in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Woodford Oil Company is seeking a Professional Propane Truck Driver to join our team of passionate and professional individuals committed to customer service. This individual will be responsible for the delivery to customer locations in an efficient, punctual and safe manner and assist our Propane Service Technician if needed. Qualifications and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Class A or B CDL license with air brake, hazmat Must Possess a clean driving record Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen Must be able to lift 75 lbs. in all weather conditions, hot and cold CDL driving experience required: 2 years Meet all DOT requirements
Principal Responsibilities Include:
Loads, secures, trucks, delivers, and unloads propane to and from specified destinations Inspect vehicle and notifies supervisor of needed equipment, supplies or routine maintenance Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures Operate truck in accordance to established safety procedures During daily interaction with customers, provide exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering questions Requires some after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response Must possess a drive, determination, professionalism and the desire to be a signifiant factor in growing our business Inspects, paints, repairs and loads tanks Under supervision, handles and maintain flow of materials and products under safety guidlines
