Job Description

SUMMARY This position is responsible for operating airport shuttles and or Ride GTR shuttles. Operate shuttle in a safe and efficient manner. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity. Must be 25 or older and have a valid Driver's License.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Arrive at work on time when scheduled. Greet guests and employees and maintain a friendly, professional attitude. Adhere to safety rules to ensure safety of guests, employees and equipment. Conduct daily vehicle inspection prior to driving shuttle. Report any problems immediately in writing to Vehicle Maintenance Department. Report any personal driving infraction to Supervisor as soon as possible. Failure to do so could mean dismissal from duties. Flexible working hours. Some job sharing may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY
Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests at all times. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort's Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others. Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 25 years old and have a valid drivers license. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Active driver's license with insurable record.
