Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent One year of experience Requires IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Level 2 certification Requires Class B CDL Valid Driver's License The essential functions of the job are: Coordinates traffic signal installation and signal improvement projects. Programs, maintains and repairs traffic signal control units and associate system components and control and/or associated monitoring equipment. Programs, maintains and repairs flashing school zone sign controls. Programs, maintains and repairs Closed Circuit Television equipment and associated system components. Installs communications including but not limited to radio, fiber optics and twisted pair. Coordinates utility projects involving signalized intersections. Coordinates traffic signal and electrical supply inventory with project manager and job superintendents. Programs and maintains advanced loop systems, including blue tooth, infrared, traditional loop, and radio. Safety operates a motor vehicle for the purpose of inspecting traffic signal installations and other related projects. Maintains appropriate and accurate records of work performed.
