Job Description
Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Depending on assignment and experience level, Engineering Technicians may: Independently collect traffic data by setting up and removing traffic tubes, recorders, and related equipment Develop daily work plans for assigned monitoring locations Travel statewide to install, maintain, and remove traffic monitoring equipment Maintain accurate records of work performed and data collected Enter traffic data into databases, spreadsheets, or applications Generate information used for traffic reports and studies Collect short-session traffic volume and vehicle classification data Assist with emergency or disaster response activities as neededPosition-Specific Details:

This position is eligible for premium pay of $2.00 per hour for all hours worked . Premium pay is subject to applicable rules and may change based on assignment, funding, or policy.
