Job Description
The City of Rochester is currently accepting applications for the position of Traffic Signal Technician. The Traffic Signal Technician performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic traffic signal control devices and related systems in the Traffic Engineering Division of the Public Works Department. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining traffic signals, decorative pedestrian lighting, and holiday outlets; perform locates of underground facilities; installing and inspecting electrical equipment; and maintaining inventory, compiling records, and preparing reports.
