THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports the review, analysis, and development of roadway maintenance operations within Chester County. As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will perform the following duties:
Plan Review:
Analyze work plans to confirm labor, materials, equipment, and funds are properly balanced
Data Analysis:
Review information from SAP systems to monitor goals and maintain accurate program control
Payroll Support:
Check foreman payrolls for accuracy and resolve issues using system reports
Field Monitoring:
Observe maintenance operations to ensure approved standards are followed and gather data for work studies
Inventory Oversight:
Assist with managing materials, maintaining inventory records, and completing goods receipt entries
Damage Assessment:

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework:
You will not have the option to telework in this position.
Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $41,506.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
