Job Description
The City of Beloit has an exciting employment opportunity in the Department of Public Works as an Equipment Operator-Streets. The duties described below are indicative of what an Equipment Operator might be asked to perform. Other duties may be assigned. The Equipment Operator-Streets performs semi-skilled manual labor either as an individual or in a team related to street maintenance and repair programs of city streets and Right of Way (ROW). Work in this position involves heavy manual labor. Under general supervision, employees follow established routines and procedures as directed. This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
