National Training, Inc. — Green Cove Springs, Florida National Training is hiring a Heavy Equipment Instructor to teach classroom lessons and practical equipment operation at our 350-acre training grounds. Candidates must have a CDL, classroom teaching experience and hands-on experience with GPS machine-control and earthmoving systems. Responsibilities Teach NCCER classroom material and hands-on equipment skills. Instruct students in safe operation of excavators, bulldozers, articulated loaders and tractor-loader backhoes. Teach grading, excavation, site preparation and equipment inspections. Demonstrate GPS machine control, including Trimble Earthworks. Evaluate student skills and maintain accurate training records. Required qualifications Valid CDL; Class A preferred. Previous classroom teaching or training experience. Professional heavy equipment operating experience. Hands-on GPS machine-control experience, including Trimble Earthworks or comparable systems. Ability to explain equipment operation clearly and enforce safe work practices.

Preferred:

NCCER instructor credentials or experience teaching NCCER curriculum.

Proposed pay:

$24 per hour, plus overtime at $36.00 per hour. Approximately 50 hours per week, subject to the training schedule.
