Job Description
Job Description Teri Nichols Institutional Food Merchants is now accepting applications for Delivery Drivers for the New York metropolitan market. Commercial straight truck (26') equipment to be utilized for the purpose of delivering food products for our customers, including but not limited to frozen, dry goods, refrigerated, and fresh produce. This position requires using excellent customer service skills and working in accordance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Be available to work full-time Monday through Friday from 5:00am until 2:00pm. Overtime is available if required. Reliable, punctual and a strong work ethic are a must High School diploma or equivalent Must be 21+ years of age Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with a "clean" driving record (including: no single or multiple DUI or DWI in the last 7 years; no more than 4 points on motor vehicle abstract; no more than 3 license suspensions within 7 years or any license revocations) 2 years commercial driving experience with CDL A or B license Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations Have a Clearinghouse account set-up as perDOT FMCSA
requirements. Utilizing Electronic Hand Scanner and paper invoices to ensure proper and efficient deliveries Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide). On-the-job training is provided. Working with assigned delivery assistant to ensure completed and satisfactory routes. Driving and making deliveries to various locations throughout Metro NY area Loading and unloading trucks in a timely and efficient manner Must be able to carry and lift objects weighing from 1-50 pounds, frequently reach up to 72" to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; must be able to perform repetitive movements- side to side, up and down in safe manner.

Full-time Salary:
