Job Description

The Tie-in/Warp Replacement Technician leases out warps that are to be retied and prepares loom and mounts new pattern into looms requiring a pattern. They also pull over warps and correct any misdraws or misreeds. As required, they cover sand drums and press rollers. The Tie-in/WRT is responsible for tying new warps to warp outs on the loom, and for maintaining the tie-in machine and tie-in frame. The Tie-in/WRT will also make necessary repairs and corrections to the warps as needed.

Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written instructions, Construction Sheets and drafts. Must have the capacity to work independently. Ability to lift light to heavy weights. Good vision. Good Mechanical ability. Weaving experience. Standard learning period of 24 weeks OJT, supervised. Serve as an On The Job Instructor; Periodically train others to perform job.
