In this role, you will be responsible for restoring Harley-Davidson motorcycle frames to their original specifications and ensuring precise drive train alignment, which is critical for optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver top-quality repairs that meet and improve manufacturer standards, providing our customers with reliable, high-performance motorcycles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and mechanical skills to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform detailed motorcycle frame repairs, including straightening, and reinforcement to restore structural integrity. Conduct precise drive train alignments to ensure improve proper handling and smooth operation. Utilize diagnostic tools and a laser measuring system to identify issues related to frame damage and drive train alignment issues Remove and reinstall components, such as brakes, exhaust, fuel tank and accessories for frame repair and alignments. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs efficiently. Troubleshoot basic vehicle problems through comprehensive inspections and testing procedures. Collaborate with service advisors and customers to explain repair processes, answer questions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience with service technician background in powersports or automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of motorcycle operation, suspension, brakes, and drivetrain components. Skilled in welding is a plus but not mandatory, heavy lifting, assembly work, and the use of hand and power tools. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on suspension systems and perform repairs efficiently on neck bearings, wheel bearings and swing arm bushing and bearings. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. Prior experience with Harley-Davidson engine repair or vehicle maintenance is a plus but not necessary.
