Job Description

WIN Waste is currently looking for a skilled Compactor Repair Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
Compactor repair and diagnosis
  • on the road and in the shopPre trip and maintain service truck integrity
  • communicate defects to shop via dvir dailyMust be safety conscious and follow all our procedures for lock out tag out
  • High risk for incidentMust have complete working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical components.
Not limited to, but primarily, Self-Contained VIP, Mini Mac .
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the fieldAbility to work an average of 45 hours a week. Monday-Friday and rotating SaturdaysMust have Knowledge of high voltage
  • 208v, 460/480v, & 120v (low)Certification for electric, or compactor repair CERT a major plusWelding/fabrication experience, a major plusMust have clean Driving license & DOT permit 26,000 and under.
Must possess ability to weld mild steel, Stick (electrode) Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and also use oxygen acetylene torch.

Ability to read electronic diagram, a plus
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Strenuous physical work, to include heavy lifting, pushing, or pullingAbility to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignmentsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to maintain and supply own personal tools needed to perform essential dutiesThis position is a mobile position and shop.
