Full-time Description:
Engineer We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Engineer . The Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support for the repair station's operations. Key duties The performance of new product development as required for testing capabilities. Performing research and development as required for tooling/equipment substantiations and FAA accepted repairs. Designing, managing, and monitoring the performance of fabricated tooling/equipment within the scope of the repair station's validation program. Performing equivalency evaluations and determinations within the scope of the repair station's validation program. Providing engineering support to the repair station for failure analysis as requested by the repair station's Managing Director/Accountable Manager and the repair station's customer base.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. Minimum 5 years in developing testing capabilities in a FAA Certificated Repair Station. Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and interpersonal skills to interact with all functional levels of internal contacts. Experience in data input, tracking, and project management. Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization. Must be experienced in SolidWorks, LabVIEW, Sigma, etc. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power point, and Outlook) Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must have attention to detail. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication. Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product. Normal amount of sitting, walking, and standing; average mobility to move around a testing laboratory environment. Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, while performing new product development. May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Salary position commensurate with experience level and skill level and/or certifications. $80K•98K We offer medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options; 401k with 100% match on first 4%; full time workers get paid holidays, vacation & sick/personal leave accrued on hire date.
