Engine Mechanic If qualified, please call or text Emma at 843 972 1999 Job Description The Engine Mechanic plays a key role in inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft engines and components to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This position uses specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot complex technical issues, maintains detailed documentation for compliance and inventory control, and supports engine maintenance activities both in the hangar and, when needed, at client sites in the Caribbean. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics on aircraft engines and their components to identify faults, malfunctions, and potential safety issues.
• timely repairs and replacements of defective parts, ensuring all work meets established safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Conduct engine overhauls and maintenance activities on PT6, TPE331, or CT7 engines and other assigned aircraft powerplants.
• Utilize specialized tools, aircraft maintenance equipment, and computerized diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of repair activities, parts usage, work performed, and equipment status to support inventory management and compliance requirements.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and maintenance documentation to plan and perform repair and overhaul tasks correctly.
• Follow federal and state transportation safety regulations and internal safety procedures while working in the hangar and at client sites.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and support staff, working independently or as part of a team to meet operational and turnaround goals.
• Support engine repairs at client sites in the Caribbean on a long-term travel basis when required, adhering to all safety and quality standards while on assignment.
• Use maintenance management systems to log work orders, track repairs, and update engine and component records.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe, organized condition and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly. Essential Skills
• Hands-on experience in engine repair, overhaul, and maintenance of aircraft engines, including PT6, TPE331, or CT7 engines.
• Ability to perform detailed inspections and diagnostics on aircraft engines and components.
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment for aircraft engine troubleshooting and repair.
• FAA Powerplant License.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems relevant to transportation and aircraft assets.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately.
• Valid driver's license and ability to comply with all applicable safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills applied to technical engine issues.
• Capability to maintain accurate repair and maintenance documentation for compliance and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a maintenance environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 3 years of experience working on turbine engines.
• Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and maintenance management systems.
• Familiarity with federal and state transportation safety regulations.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced transportation or warehousing environment.
• FAA Airframe License (preferred).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel long-term to Caribbean client sites to support engine repairs when required.

Work Environment This role is based primarily in a hangar environment working on aircraft engines and related components. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts running approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The hangar does not have air conditioning, so candidates should be comfortable working in varying temperature conditions. Work involves regular use of specialized tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance management systems in an active aviation setting, with occasional long-term travel to Caribbean client sites to support engine repairs. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00

• $85000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Medical, Dental, 401k
